Consider ups and downs over a longer time scale

Uncertainty is something that cannot be completely eliminated from daily life.

This can lead to physical and mental ups and downs.

When we feel good, the world looks wonderful,

and when feeling down, we would suddenly feel like unfortunate things are piling up one after another.
(Even though the world is just continuing as it is.)

Ups and downs greatly distort the lens through which we see things.

At times like these, it’s essential to recognize our situation.

When we feel good, we should be humble and realize that this state is temporary,

and when feelign down, we should realize that now is the time for us to feel down.

Ups and downs are like waves, rising and sinking repeatedly.
(As if progressing according to a set scenario)

When we’re floating, we’ll eventually sink.

When we’re sinking, we’ll eventually rise.

It’s important to understand this and to take a bird’s-eye view of our current state over a longer period of time.

Both floating and sinking states are essential elements in building up our self.

In either state, it’s necessary to keep a balance and keep taking steps forward without getting too deep in the long term.
