Morning walks are biological time
I usually walk my dog every morning.
As I walk through the silence of where few people are around, I confirm the beginning of the day.
When I’m working, I have a job title that defines me, and I’m defined as a human being through my interactions with others.
However, as I walk now, I’m walking as a living creature living in the natural world, far from that.
(When there are no people around, I can’t prove that I’m a human being.)
Just like a bird flying in the sky, I’m a living creature that exists in the natural world.
As a living creature, I wander through the natural world, sensing the flowers and bird calls that appear before me.
(If I’m hungry, I’ll be looking for food and water.)
Sometimes I look up to the sky to check the height of the sky and the shape of the clouds.
Even if the days seem the same, it teaches me that time is definitely passing and that each day is a series of unique events.
If we change the way we perceive everyday scenery, it will look iridescent.
I recommend taking a walk in the silence of the morning, as it gives you a glimpse into the non-uniformity of everyday life.
