Spend my days with a vague long-term goal

I have vague long-term goals.
(Though they are fluid)

  • Live in a sunny, single-story house
(To avoid having to go up and down stairs when I get older)
  • Be able to be self-sufficient in energy and food to some extent
(Because Japan does not currently have abundant resources (have not found any))
  • Learn about daily infrastructure
(To be able to handle minor repairs and problems myself)

Most daily infrastructure is outsourced, so when a problem occurs, we rely on experts.

As living organisms, building a home was an essential skill for surviving in the natural world.

However, I don't know how to build a house.
(All I can do is pitch a simple tent)

I have concerns about the sustainability of the current infrastructure.

Therefore, I think it's a good idea to acquire some knowledge about the infrastructure surrounding daily life.
(Especially if we live in a depopulated area)

These days, we can learn the basics from the internet and videos, even if we don't learn from people directly.

I work toward a vague, fluid long-term goal, and every day I get a little closer.
