My perspective on money sometimes change

Everyone is happy to receive cash (unless it is illegal).

I think many people were especially happy when they received pocket money as children.

However, recently my perspective on money has been changing.

Especially when buying things with cash.

To pay, I hand over a bill with a picture of a great person and receive the item.

In my mind,

This is just a piece of paper with a picture of a person I don’t know very well, can I really exchange this for something?
(Of course, I have a lot of respect for the great people depicted and the craftsmanship that went into making the bills.)

As compensation for work, we receive paper money (printed with a name we don’t know very much),

and then hand over that paper money when we buy something.

This is the cycle that has developed the economy.

However, since the shift to a credit economy, paper money itself has no value.

If its credibility as an exchange value is lost, no one will accept it.

Prices are currently rising, but this can also be seen as a decrease in the value of the means of exchange itself.
(This does not mean that the dignity of the unknown person depicted on the paper money has decreased.)

There are many different means of exchange, and not just one type of money.

When purchasing something with cash, this thought suddenly crosses my mind.
