Cold weather is not very good for vegetables.

Chinese cabbage

No matter how much I wait, they can’t change to the ball form.

I looked into this reason and found out that the leaves aren’t curl unless the temperature is around 15 degrees .
(Oh my god! )

I’ll be waiting for the rape blossoms that will bloom for spring to be harvested.

Cabbage

The number of leaves increases one by one.

Other seedling leaves were found to be eaten by insects.

Despite this cold winter season, there are insects that are active.
(I haven’t seen grasshoppers for a while now.)

I searched the underside of the leaves and the surrounding areas, but found nothing.

・Is it nocturnal?

・Is it an insect like a traveler wandering through nature?

I don’t know, but if thinking that this cabbage leaf gave some kind of continuous life, the insect-eaten leaves would look endearing.
(I don’t think so if they eat too much)

Garland chrysanthemum,Spinach

Perhaps due to the strong cold wave that arrived a while ago, some of the garland chrysanthemums were weakening.

This garland chrysanthemum is a relatively fine.

On the other hand, spinach is resistant to cold weather.

The leaves are enlarged and are steadily growing.

Lettuce

The growth speed has accelerated, probably due to the additional fertilizer applied before.

Green onion

I replanted it the other day, and it seems that they have taken root successfully.
